Lessons
In each of my sessions, there is a specific goal that I want to achieve with the student.
The first session is the assessment where I go over each student’s specific goals for our time together.
From the second meeting on, we begin each class with a review of the homework and review the material learned in the previous class.
Each session introduces learning strategies and study skills students can apply to other subjects.
Introduction & 1st Session
The introductory session (30 mins) will be a conversation time where we will discuss your goals and needs for our sessions. We will consider how best to customise the lessons to help you achieve your desired results.
In the first session (1 hour) we will implement our previously discussed learning strategies. This free initial session is to enable you as the student to acclimate with one to one learning and ensure you are comfortable with this form of study.

Pre - GCSE
If you are Year 9 (KS3) or under, these sessions are designed to help you prepare for your upcoming GCSE years. Maths is about building and expanding on knowledge, in these sessions we will work to ensure the foundation for building upon is solid.
Price: £30 per hour
GCSE
These sessions are specifically for students Year 10 or 11 (KS4). GCSE Mathematics is quite a broad introduction to many areas of mathematical study and in these lessons we will aim to ensure a solid grasp of each of the subject areas allowing you as the student to move forward with more confidence.
Price: £35 per hour
Focus Session
Mathematics is a building block system, and unfortunately if the foundation is not as solid or well understood as it should be then it can be very difficult to move forward. The Focus Session has been created for students who are struggling in a specific area and wish to recap a particular topic in order to stabilise their school learning.
(I would recommend 2-3 sessions for a focused topic)
Price: £35 per hour
Revision and Exam Prep
If you are coming up to your exams or mock exams and are finding revision a slog then this session is for you. Effective revision is a study technique in its own right and can be one of the hardest to master. Together, we will look at your revision, discuss and apply methods to help you in the lead up to exams.
Or...
If you know your maths, but somehow forget your own name when you enter an exam room then this session can also be useful to you. We will practice techniques and exercises to help you in an exam environment.
