Hi there, I’m Hannah

What I'm All About
Teaching isn’t just ingraining information into students’ minds to memorize — it’s about providing them with the tools they need in order to think critically and succeed. I believe that successful teaching changes habits, and ultimately improves quality of life.
Bio
I was lucky enough to attend wonderful schools with passionate teachers and thus always thoroughly enjoyed education.

Having achieved good grades at GCSE and A-Level at Talbot Heath School for Girls, I went on to study and gain an Honours Degree in Philosophy from the University of London. I always enjoyed Mathematics, and my love for Philosophy came from this, as believe it or not the two subjects are linked in many ways. I have decided to further my education and am currently studying for a Degree in Mathematics.

Maths is a crucial element in education and life in general. I believe there are so many benefits from mathematical study, the discipline and concentration of good academic work in itself is a great skill. There is a reason that almost all employers will ask for a minimum grade C (or equivalent) in GCSE mathematics.

The school experience is vital for a child's growth and development and I believe how they feel about their abilities to study and learn will shape their adult lives.
The beauty of one to one learning is the freedom to teach in the way most suited to the student. I recognise and nurture the potential in each one of my students, with a customisable approach, I’m a patient, adaptable, and professional tutor ready to help you reach your goals.
